Privacy Policy

The short version

Your budget stays on your phone. PayLeft has no accounts, never asks for your bank login, doesn't show ads, and doesn't sell your information.

What PayLeft stores

The numbers you enter (your pay schedule, paycheck amounts, bills, spending, savings and debt) are saved only on your device. We don't run a server that receives or stores your budget, so we can't see it.

What we don't collect

• No bank account logins or account numbers. PayLeft never connects to your bank.
• No name, address, Social Security number or ID documents.
• No location, contacts, photos or microphone access.
• No advertising trackers.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles your payment details; we never see your card information. To check whether your subscription is active, PayLeft uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and renewal history, and basic device information such as your country and app version.

How information is used

Purchase information is used only to unlock the features you paid for, restore purchases, and understand subscription numbers in aggregate. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Deleting your data

You can clear your budget at any time in Settings with "Run setup from scratch." Deleting the app also deletes everything stored in it. To cancel a subscription, use your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. To ask about data held by RevenueCat for your purchases, email us and we'll help.

Children

PayLeft is meant for adults managing their own money and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Because your budget stays on your device, most requests can be handled by deleting the app. For anything else, contact us.

Changes

If PayLeft adds features that handle data differently, such as optional accounts or syncing between devices, we'll update this policy and change the date above before those features launch.
